Lineapelle New York officially opened the winter season 23/24 , declining the first creative steps of the new collections awaiting the appointments in London and Milan, scheduled for 6 September and 20- respectively. September 22.
This edition of the International Exhibition of leathers, accessories, components, fabrics, synthetics and models hosted 119 companies from all over the world, including 91 tanneries, 8 manufacturers of accessories and components, 13 manufacturers of fabrics and synthetic materials, 7 manufacturers of chemical products and others.
From the first creative steps of the autumn-winter 2023-2024 fashion collections emerged the clear desire to research new stylistic models, focusing on the circular economy and on the green power that characterizes Italian leather and on craftsmanship.
The trend of winter 23/24 will therefore be the circular economy which will see reuse as protagonists, technologies to increase the performance of materials, the development of undyed and timeless processes, but also combinations of "ultra-smooth and reflective" materials and solutions that "reconsider the grain of the materials, to make them more vibrant".
In addition to dictating the style of the upcoming collections, the event hosted exclusive One To One Meetings with customers and stakeholders entitled Responsible Italian Leather Lounge em> through which the global standards of responsibility were defined and the need for an increasingly sustainable production was underlined.
